Outline
The main purpose of the room is to conduct product training seminars and evaluations. The AFC system has been installed for demonstrations in this room to make the space versatile for many types of events. To give high-quality speech intelligibility, the room is designed to be dead. It has been set up to give slight reinforcement without long reverberation. AFC can enhance and control the reverberation characteristics to match the presentation. For simple spoken presentations, it produces slight reinforcement without the use of a PA system. AFC produces a gain of 1.5 dB and consistent distribution, and it can enhance and control the reverberation characteristics to match the natural speech. The STI (Speech Transmission Index) parameter is not reduced greatly (off: 0.88 > on: 0.77), and for acoustical music use, the AFC can enhance the reverberation time up to more than four times (off: 0.4 sec > on: 1.7 sec).
