Outline
The main hall of Arkas SASEBO, with a seating capacity of 2,000, was designed mainly for music, in which the acoustical performance of a shoebox-type concert hall, and the ease of view similar to that of an opera house, are harmonized. AFC is installed for reverberance enhancement, increase of loudness, ease of play, and improvement of uniformity between stage and audience area. The system has three modes corresponding to the settings of the room and to the event types, i.e. large reflector mode for orchestral music, small mode for ensembles, and theater style for opera.
